About Abram
My name is Abram and I’m currently a junior at the University of Miami. Originally from Columbus, OH, I was a two-time state champion. I originally taught tennis as an assistant to my dad, a teaching pro as well, and became certified by the Professional Tennis Registry three years ago.

Teaching Experience: 5 years

Teaching Style
Although I was a doubles state champion in high school, I do have a strong background in both singles and doubles. I pride myself on a strong knowledge of the game and understanding how statistics and angles play a role in constructing a successful, well-rounded game.

I structure my lessons a bit differently based on the age, level of play, and style of play of my student. Generally, however, we begin with a warmup, move into work on a specific portion of one’s game that needs improvement (i.e. serve and volley, approach shots, defensive slice), then sum up the lesson with some situational point play to tie in what we’ve learned into a live-ball format.

I look forward to working with you in the future and am open to suggestions on how to improve my teaching style as well.

Hobbies
I am a finance major and worked this past summer in New York City doing sales and trading. Athletically, I was also a starter on my high school basketball team and enjoy playing pick up with my friends.
