After analyzing the Australian Open matches for the past couple of days, it’s time for me to analyze the most important part of the tournament — the players’ outfits. Don’t lie; you know you want to judge. And if this is too superficial for you, check out our awesome daily coverage of the first major of the year! We’ll be talking about the land down under all week long. And now for you superficial folks, here’s 22 Aussie Open outfits ranked worst to best.

#22 Sam Groth
This shirt is very Proto-Cubist, which is def not my favorite artistic period. The black shorts are just meh. You can do better, Groth.
#21 Elena Makarova
Never a fan of cap sleeves. Plus red, white and blue is so U.S. Open.
#20 Andy Murray
Too much is happening here. Is Under Armor going to keep outfitting Andy in these neon colors? I’m not sure it’s the right look for him.
#19 Stan Wawrinka
Navy and white isn’t super interesting, but at least the shirt has some stripes.
#18 Ernests Gulbis
The notorious playboy seriously cleaned up and it would appear he got a haircut for those HD Australian Open cameras. It’s nothing special, but he looked put together for his first (and only) match. Slow tear.
#17 Grigor Dimitrov
This is a dull outfit in comparison to what some of the other men wore, but let’s be honest — it’s hard for him to look bad.
#16 Victoria Azarenka
When she has the warmup tee on, Azarenka is dazzling. But her tank top is just okay. I’m over the ombre thing.
#15 Novak Djokovic
Djokovic basically blends into the Plexicushion surface of the tennis courts, but I like that he was one of the few guys who had a collar. Classy, Djokovic. Classy.
#14 Maria Sharapova
The shape of this dress is something that Sharapova has done many times before and it works well for her. I’m glad it has that stripe at the bottom otherwise it would be bo-ring.
#13 Alexandra Panova
Dark colors didn’t work for a lot of people on this list, but the qualifier who almost beat Sharapova looks fresh to death. Look at that top. You could wear that top to any trendy club in Melbourne.
#12 Kiki Bertens
Whoa, what is this nifty pattern that looks like Strawberry Twizzlers? Pink was a hot trend this year, but the magenta hue is a cool twist.
#11 Caroline Wozniacki
This is very mermaid-y and makes you forget about that frilly mauve frock Stella McCartney gave her to wear at the U.S. Open.
#10 Thanasi Kokkinakis
This kid truly brings back Agassi and the 90s with this flashy look. Also, he did a backflip/victory lap after upsetting Ernest Gulbis in the first round, which makes him more awesome in my eyes.
#9 Venus Williams
Venus is just the most elegant. This is so pretty you could wear it as a sundress to a picnic on the Australian beaches.
#8 Simona Halep
The colors are wonderful, but better yet, the design is super functional. No crazy straps or pleats to worry about when you’re running around.
#7 Eugenie Bouchard
Everybody was rocking pink and yellow this year, but I particularly like those spandex. Very important wardrobe piece for moments like this.
#6 Gael Monfils
I’m seriously into Monfils’ stripy blue and orange look. It’s totally outrageous and rebellious, which is sooo Monfils.
#5 Roger Federer
Federer is consistently at the top of the best-dressed list in any situation. I love how the gray shorts offset his neon top.
#4 Serena Williams
The back cutout makes this dress. She looks like a majestic butterfly floating around the court and she stings like a bee with that power backhand.
#3 Rafael Nadal
This reminds me of piña coladas and getting caught in the rain. Or something like that. Rafa definitely made a splash in Melbourne after his early departure from the 2014 season.
#2 Ana Ivanovic
This is from the same line as Halep’s look, but I prefer the dress. So disappointed that Ivanovic crashed out of the tournament because this purple and peach combo is to die.
#1 Sloane Stephens
She may have lost her opening match but this dress stole my heart. I want.
