“Since I’m not a complete savage, I like to have my glass chilled.” That’s the line of a very retired tennis player who is also still trying to get paid.
Andy Roddick has been at it on Periscope, the streaming app that allows you interact with celebs real time, for a while now but if you have never tuned into one of his live commentaries of a match it’s something you must do this US Open. He was on Periscope last night for the Steve Johnson Juan Martin Del Potro match and he was extremely insightful throughout. Hilariously though, he started off by plugging Grey Goose and making a #Honeydew cocktail to sip on during the match.
Not many people can sit in a room alone and be engaging but Roddick gives fans insight that only a top American player can. Especially his peak in Steve Johnson’s head, having been the top American playing on center court, is a perspective only Roddick can provide.
