I can’t believe BuzzFeed is trying to ruin the Australian Open for us. This weekend Buzzfeed (yeah, I don’t know) and the BBC ran a story claiming there has been widespread match-fixing in men’s tennis and that those in charge within tennis ignored it completely.

Unfortunately, it is utter speculation at the moment considering there was not a single player directly linked (that could be proven) but the article claims there are 16 former top 50 players involved, which included a former American champion as well.

Roger Federer was interviewd as saying that he “would love to hear names”, and I agree that until we get more concrete information concerning who was involved and to what extent, this story is shrouded in mystery.
