About Anthony
I played the majority of my junior tennis in the West Texas area. While attending Snyder High School, I went undefeated my senior year in doubles and received several awards for my academic accomplishments and athletic sportsmanship. At Abilene’s Hardin-Simmons University, I was a varsity tennis letterman and graduated with a double degree in political science and philosophy in 2001. After I relocated to Austin I spent four years in real estate appraisal and development. An absence of tennis in my life and lack of passion for my job caused me to step away from real estate and to pursue my true passion of education and tennis. I then received my Texas Teacher Certification in Special Education, P.E., Social Studies and my USPTA Pro certification. Most recently, I spent five years coaching at the Austin Tennis Academy, before transitioning to a full-time career in financial planning.
