About Carmel
Hi, my name is Carmel. I am from Sydney, Australia, and have been coaching for 26 years. I picked up a racquet at age 3 and haven’t stopped since. I was a top 10 junior in Australia and I had a scholarship to college where I was no. 1 on the team. I have won 5.0 nationals and 10.0 mixed national. I also won gold, silver and bronze balls at senior national tournaments. I am currently working at Natomas Racquet Club.

Teaching Style
I put emphasize on correct grips, footwork and strokes. I want to teach students to love the game I was taught. It is a lifetime sport.
