About Carolina
Hi! My name is Carolina. I am from Spain so I speak fluent English and Spanish. I started playing tennis when I was 6. I came to the United States to play tennis and get my college degree. I graduated with a B.S. in exercise science. My senior year I was named MVP and All-Conference Second Team in doubles. I started teaching tennis when I was 17 and I have been teaching on and off ever since. I work mostly with children, but I have also worked with teenagers and adults. I love the sport and sharing my knowledge with others. I’m also the new tennis assistant coach at Savannah State University.
Teaching Experience: 7 years
Teaching Style
I like to start with a short warm-up. Then I use drills to perfect the aspects that my client is interested in improving. I also like to hit with them so they can learn to control the ball and play points. Lastly, I try to focus on the serve at the end of at least one of every two lessons, especially if my client is interested in playing matches.
Hobbies
I like to go to the gym, watch movies and spend time with my friends and family.
