About Christopher
Hi, my name is Christopher and I am a tennis professional in the greater Philadelphia area. I recently have come off the pro circuit after several years competing all over the world. I reached a career high ATP singles ranking of 758 in October 2011. I also played on the tennis team at the University of Tennessee from 2006-2008 and held an ITF world junior ranking of 49 in 2006, a year in which I competed in all 4 junior grand slams. I still compete now to stay sharp and in shape to be able to train the best players in the area. Aside from my playing experience, I am also certified by the USPTA as a teaching pro. I have played many top players in my years playing and also worked with a wide variety of coaches from all over the world, so I have a lot of experience to pass along to those looking to improve their game. I enjoy working with young juniors, senior players and everyone in between. My specialty however, is in high performance tennis training. Either way, if you are looking t
o improve your game, don’t hesitate to sign up with me!

Teaching Experience: 5 years

Teaching Style
My teaching style is unique to the student I am teaching. That being said, first I have to speak with the student and then get them on the court to see their strengths and weaknesses to see where they need work. For some players they made need hitting drills for the whole lesson, while others may need drilling where I feed the ball in different drills. It really depends on the player. I am a believer in good technique, which means proper mechanics. With the correct strokes, a player can then take the steps to take his or her game to the next level. I believe footwork and conditioning are also big parts of the game, so I always try to incorporate that in my lessons also.

Hobbies
I enjoy traveling and all sports in general.
