About Chuck
Hi, my name is Chuck. My teaching experience is as follows: Square Lake Club Tennis pro 8 years, Head Tennis Pro Forest Lake Country Club 2 years and Director of Tennis Schoolcraft College 4 years. I’m currently the Boys and Girls Tennis Coach at Hartland High School in Hartland Michigan. I also run beginner and and junior varsity summer clinics at Hartland High School.

Teaching Style
I believe in progressive techniques starting with the contact point on forehands, backhands, volleys and serves and only moving on to bigger back swings and full follow through once a feel for the ball is established. By breaking the strokes down, the student is not overwhelmed by trying to think about too many things at once. I also believe the lesson should be fun and varied and not just full of repetitive boring drills.
