About David
Hi, my name is David. I’m a USPTA Elite Professional and reside in St Petersburg Florida. I’m also a USTA certified High Performance Coach and currently work as an independent contractor for the Bardmoor Tennis Academy. My past employment includes the following: Director of Tennis and Athletics for the Pelican Sound Golf & River Club, Director of Tennis Operations for the Seminole Lake Tennis Center, Director of Tennis for the Pelican Bay Park Community Tennis Center in Naples Fl, Director of Tennis for the Tarpon Cove Yacht and Racquet Club in Naples FL and the Pro/Co-Owner for 24 years at the West Indy Racquet Club, Indianapolis, IN. I also owned and directed the Pointe Tough Tennis Academy in Indianapolis for 13 years. I have traveled extensively as a junior coach and as a players’ coach on the ATP Tour. I’m also a member of the Professional Tennis Registry, the United States Racquet Stringers Association and the USTA. David also received an honorary membership to the Mexican
Tennis Federation while doing a six-city, eight-day clinic tour through Mexico. I was sectionally and nationally ranked as a junior, and played most national events as a junior in the 1960s and early ’70s.

Teaching Experience: 41 years

Teaching Style
I emphasis technique for beginners up to intermediate players, stroke analysis and footwork. I also teach tactics & strategy for advanced intermediate and advanced players. I explain how to play doubles including strategy, tactics, positioning and the return game.

Hobbies
Music (drums), fishing, Formula 1, remodeling and relaxing
