About Dwight
I was introduced to the sport at age 3 and I haven’t stopped playing since. I participated in the junior circuit during my youth, playing all over the country. I was ranked in the Southern section all of my career, as well as being a top-ranked junior in Tennessee. I was a member on a state championship team in high school. I began teaching at age 13 as a junior instructor for the Hadley Park Junior Development Program in Nashville, Tennesseee. I have worked with different age groups as well as all levels of play. In 2010, I became a certified teaching pro with the USPTR. Today, I continue to teach individually to all ages and levels in the Nashville, Tennessee, area.

Teaching Experience: 9 years

Teaching Style
Starting with beginners, I focus on teaching the fundamentals of each stroke from the USPTR handbook. From there we will go through each stroke until the student gets to the level of being able to hit balls from a ball machine to finally get to the level of live-ball action. Each lesson will be structured based on where the student is and we will always discuss and set goals that are within reach.

Hobbies
Watching and playing sports, music, reading, fitness and hanging out with friends
