About Farhad
Hi, my name is Farhad. I’m a USTA High Performance Tennis Coach, and I also hold a USPTA Elite certificate. I work mainly with high performance players as well as with a Division I college team. I went through USTA QuickStart program and worked for the city of Kirkland with more than a few hundred kids. I’ve been teaching tennis for 12 years in Iran, Germany and the United States. Regarding my tennis background: I’ve been playing tennis since I was seven years old. I was ranked no. 1 in juniors in Iran and ranked in ITF. I also played in some ATP tournaments.

Teaching Style
I’m interested in working with serious players, juniors, kids and USTA teams. I take a lot of pleasure in working with my students given their potentials and enthusiasm for tennis. I use a Med Ball and agility drills to teach different footwork patterns, which helps them to reach wide balls and recover faster. I use video analysis comparing my students’ strokes with pros, which facilitates correct technique.
Hobbies
Reading, animals, film, music, photography, snowboarding, horseback riding, soccer, swimming and yoga.
