About Jacklyn
I have played tennis since age 12, played college tennis at Collins College and was an All American in 2008. I attended summer camp for three years as a tennis specialist teaching 8-15 year old kids. My tennis director was Dave Porter, president of USPTA and the head coach of the women’s and men’s tennis team of Brigham Young University-Hawaii.

Teaching Experience: 6 years

Teaching Style
Firstly, I explain the lesson, whether it be serves, forehands, backhands, overheads , drills or stance. This is followed by a demonstration from myself or a video from a pro using a laptop/iPad. After the discussion and explanation of the lesson, we will get on the court and hit with or I will feed balls depending on your level. During hitting or feeding balls , I coach on what needs to improve. Example: “Extend your hand out while hitting a forehand.” It is my job to figure out what the problem is and fix it.

Hobbies
I play netball, listen to R&B music and occasionally read in my spare time.
