About Jacob
Hi, I’m a former Division I collegiate tennis player at the University of Maryland and have a USTA NTRP rating of 5.5.
Previously I was the Men’s Tennis Team Coach at USIU and taught tennis to players of all levels and ages at Kenwood Country Club, Potomac Tennis Club, Georgetown Tennis Academy and Four Star Tennis Academy.
Teaching Experience: 10 years
Teaching Style
First lessons focus on assessing your ability and discussing your tennis goals. Follow up lessons involve working on your stroke technique, footwork, precision drills, live point play, conditioning and fitness. All lessons are individually designed for your ability level and needs.
I also work as a hitting partner for many of my students who prefer live match play tennis lessons.
Hobbies
I’m a tennis coach and musician.
