About Jake
I began as a player at age 11. During that time I enjoyed success in the high school tennis circuit as well as in USTA sanctioned events. As a player I won two high school state championships. After my playing career I immediately began coaching as an assistant at Vandebilt Catholic High School. After three years as an assistant I took over as the head coach. During my first year, my boy’s team won the regional tournament and placed fourth at the state tournament, while my girl’s team finished as runners up in both events. In my second year, my boy’s team won the regional and state championships while my girl’s team won the regional title.
Teaching Experience: 6 years
Teaching Style
I emphasize footwork and all-court tennis during my lessons. I use live-ball work and and stroke diagnosis to correct any errors in technique.
