About Jason
I have coached and enjoy working with children, juniors and adults. From 2010-2013, I was the VP of ACEing Autism (a non-profit charity that brings tennis to children on the spectrum. I am currently a partner of TennisKids, which brings tennis to the Montessori School System. I am an avid sports enthusiast and healthy lifestyle aficionado with an emphasis on the mental aspect of health and sports. I received my BA in Psychology in 2001 and I was USPTA certified in 2007. I was named “2006 NTRP Player of the Year” ( labeled an “Amateur Federer” by Inside Tennis Magazine). I won the Southern California NTRP Grand Prix Tennis Masters tournament two years in a row (2006-2007) and reached the USTA team nationals in Arizona, coming in third place overall (2012). I have captained three tennis teams at the Braemar Country Club and won the WTT national mixed title at Indian Wells (2006).

Teaching Experience: 10 years

Teaching Style
I will encourage my students’ natural and psychological development through proper technique. For beginner and intermediate students, I will show you tennis fundamentals through fun technical games and drills. With advanced players, I will be active in playing games, sets and tie-breakers. My lessons include hand-eye-coordination drills, footwork drills, stroke production and fun hitting. I keep it fun even if you are working hard.

Hobbies
Soccer, chess, music, rugby,basketball, physical fitness
