About John
I am a 19 year old collegiate tennis player. I currently play for Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. I have been playing tennis for about 14 years and have learned a lot about the game both physically and mentally. I have coached on and off for the past 2-3 years but I have been a hitting partner for my coach’s students for about a year now. I am someone who is very positive and understanding, who has a good sense of humor to make lessons or hitting sessions be fun. I am really looking forward to giving my experience to both younger and older tennis players. I am currently working as a Summer coach/counselor at John Newcombe’s Tennis Ranch which is very prestigious.

Teaching Experience: 2 years

Teaching Style
I am very analytical when it comes to analyzations of someone’s techniques. I try to keep everything as simple as possible and try not to overload my students with too much in one lesson. My lessons will mainly be focused on one general aspect and maybe something small at the end of the lesson followed with a game to help you become more comfortable with your footwork and technique. I do both feeding and liveball play to give my students the full experience of both getting balls fed into their strikezone as well as them having to move up to the ball in a rally to get the ball where they want it.

Hobbies
I enjoy watching the NFL (Go Steelers!) as well as listening to the lovely singing of Michael Bublé.
