About Kartik
My name is Kartik Kapoor (Kar), I have lived in Tanzania for all of my life. I’ve played tennis competitively since I was 10. I spent some time at the Saddlebrooke Tennis Academy in Tampa. Also spent some time at the Dubai Tennis Academy. I played college tennis at Vassar. I recently moved to D.C. for work and am looking to coach in my spare time.

Teaching Style
I am a good student of the game. I like to focus on the technical part of the game. My teaching philosophy is learning by doing or watching others. I’ve improved my game significantly by watching others closely and trying to replicate that. My tennis lessons are structured around technique and improving weaknesses, but also applying those in real-game situations. I use a lot of match play and pressure situations depending on the level of the student.
Hobbies
I am huge Liverpool FC fan. I play a lot of soccer as well. I love reggae music. I also enjoy meeting new people and thought this would help with that, so I can’t wait to meet you!
