About Ken
I am a PTR International Master Professional, USPTA Master Professional, USA High Performance Coach. I train players and other coaches. I have presented at the U.S. Open, the Australian Open, Italy, China and most states. My style of teaching is creative, easy to relate to, uses lots of visual aids including video analysis and includes technical development, tactical development and mental skills training. I have written for Tennis Magazine, TennisView, Advantage and TennisPro Magazines. I am sponsored by Wilson and one of only 8 members of the Wilson Premier Advisory Staff. I am certified in 10 & Under, 11-17 and Performance level as Professional. My son is a highly ranked player and we have a very good adult and junior program at the club where I am the director of tennis – Almaden Valley Athletic Club in San Jose.

Teaching Experience: 41 years

Teaching Style
I teach based upon the students learning style – visual, kinesthetic or auditory – or what combination they relate to best. We use lots of teaching aids, targets and video to improve your game quickly. We have lots of funny sayings that help you recall key information. I have a written summary of the lesson for all privates and I specialize in Drop In Drill Clinics that allow anyone to drop into one of my clinics for a great workout and private tips in a group setting.
I specialize in finding the cause of errors not just the symptoms for error corrections that last.

Hobbies
I enjoy writing for tennis magazines. My old racquet collection includes 2,000 racquets, 1500 books on tennis, a large magazine and art collection of tennis. I like to play tennis and basketball. My wife is an actress and I enjoy community theater.
