About Kindahl
Hi, my name is Kindahl. I am from the Lubbock, TX, area and graduated from Texas Tech University. I played tennis throughout my college career playing on the travel team competitively then leaving the active team to play recreational tennis and organize young adult clinics. In the past four years I have been very active in organizing tournaments in the Southern Oklahoma region teaching and coaching children and young adults through clinics, tournaments and private lessons.
Teaching Experience: 4 years
Teaching Style
A typical lesson will include a warm up: forehands, backhands and volleys. We may start playing closely at the net to get some quick rallies going and to work on foot work. Once the student feels comfortable I like to play some fun drills to really work on their technique. The drills and practice will vary depending on the student’s need at the time. We will discuss what the goals are of the student and make an effort to improve what may seem to be a weakness and turn it into a confident shot for future games!
Hobbies
I am a Texas Tech graduate who majored in Industrial Engineering and French. I love traveling and normally when I do travel I try to take a racket with me when possible! Learning new languages is definitely a fun hobby I enjoy as well as my work. I also have a second degree black belt in Taekwondo and enjoyed teaching that for many years!
