About Louis
Hi, my name is Louis. I live in Dayton, and have for most of my life. I played tennis all through high school and college (ONU) while I attended. I’ve given lessons over Craigslist and to many of my friends. I’ve played nearly daily for years now, and love to share my knowledge with others! It’s a beautiful game you can play for the rest of your life, and it’s never too late to start!

Teaching Experience: 1 years

Teaching Style
I don’t like to spend too much time going over the mechanics. It’s all muscle memory, so the more balls you hit the better. The key is not to get stuck with bad habits. But that’s why I’m here! I also don’t like to just feed stale balls over and over. When you’re on court no one is going to hit a pleasant bopper to your forehand over and over. We would spend a short amount of time going over how each shot is hit, then hit hit hit, with pointers between every couple “points”. I’ve seen students improve very quickly this way. So long as your having fun, it doesn’t feel like work! Work hard, laugh, have a good attitude and you’re game will catch up to you!

Hobbies
Outside of tennis, music and other outdoor activities are how I like to pass the time. I also like guitar, ukelele, running, biking and relaxing. Live large, live easy.
