About Maegan
My name is Maegan Heaney and I am a recent college graduate. I am friendly, energetic and outgoing. Tennis has been a passion of mine for many years. Whether it be playing tennis competitively, just hitting with friends or teaching others, I always enjoy my time on the court. I played for my high school team as well as my college team. I have taught group lessons as well as individual lessons and also help run USTA tournaments.

Teaching Style
My specialities is teaching younger children who have just started playing or never played before. Having them hit there first ball over the net and watching them fall in love with the sport and watching them getting better and better with each lesson is something that is very fulfilling for me. Of course I also teach all other ages as well. I will always start my lessons off by having my student hit a full hopper of forehands and then a full hopper of backhands to get them them warmed up. Then depending on my student’s ability we would take it from there. My goal as an instructor is to make tennis fun and exciting as well as teach something new each lesson.
