About Martha
Hi, my name is Martha. I am an entrepreneur at heart with a passion for tennis which began at age 6. My tennis career includes number three ranking as a junior in Colombia, All American for the Southwest State University in Marshall MN and top 300 in doubles and 500 in singles on the WTA tour. After retiring from the WTA tour I moved to South Florida where I have been teaching at several clubs such as the Midtown Athletic Club in Weston and the Boca Point CC.
Recently I finished a 8 year career as the tennis director at The Bald Head Island Club to dedicate fully to a new chapter in my life as the owner of MGarzon Fashion, a brand that produces SPF 50+ sun protection high performance sportswear. I continue to teach private lessons in the Wilton Manor area.

I strongly emphasize great footwork and utilizing the core to achieve complete balance which translates into great technique. After the technical and fitness issues have been addressed I believe it is extremely important to get my student’s mind in tune with a positive attitude to fully enjoy the game.
