About Michael
Hi, my name is Michael. I am a skilled tennis player who played collegiate tennis and participated in many USTA leagues and tournaments. Most recently I was rated as no. 15 in North California USTA men’s 60 circuit and served as the tennis coach for the Harker High School junior varsity tennis team, which had a record of 10-3 and played for the league championships. I have receive excellent coaching from world class coaches including John Fruterro and JP Fruterro. I hold a degree in counseling psychology and have more than 20 years playing experience. I have great success working with children, adults, social and competitive players and with elementary, middle school, high school and junior college team members seeking to improve their game.

Teaching Experience: 10 years

Teaching Style
My style is hands on and entertaining. I work to evaluate your game and then prioritize those elements which you wish to improve. I am able and willing to work on all aspects of the game: technique, tactics, nutrition, exercise/flexibility and the mental aspect of the game. My style involves making sure your experience fun and productive.

Hobbies
I enjoy sports of all kind, play chess, read, enjoy nature and am a trained Ecologist/Biologist in addition to being a counseling psychologist.
