About Page
I am a young professional living in the Arlington area! I have played tennis since I was 5 years old and absolutely love the game. Growing up, I played in USTA tournaments and was no. 1 on my varsity team for two years (and we went to state). I went to the University of virginia, where I was a member of the club tennis team. We traveled all over the country playing against other club teams.
Teaching Experience: 4 years
Teaching Style
I definitely emphasize footwork and timing. Moving your feet and understanding when to hit the ball are crucial for every tennis player. I do specialize in singles play and in particular, groundstroke work because I have been a hard-hitting singles player my whole life. I am open to structuring my lesson in whatever fashion the client wants. We can hit back and forth, play points or really focus on different aspects of the game.
Hobbies
College basketball, The Avett Brothers, and investment management
