About Patrick
I have been playing tennis for almost 30 years, and I have been the coach of a high school tennis team for the past 24 years. I love playing and coaching tennis and have worked with strong high school players as well as players who are picking up a racket for the first time. I believe that tennis can enrich all parts of a person’s life and that it truly is the sport for a lifetime. In addition, I teach a summer camp of mostly young children. I also played USTA junior tournaments growing up and currently play USTA tournaments when I have the opportunity.

Teaching Style
No matter whether I’m teaching a young child or an adult, I want my students to move, learn and have fun. I want to share my love of the game with you. A typical lesson includes a warm-up activity, followed by working on the emphasis of that day’s lesson, followed by some kind of wrap-up activity.
Hobbies
I love being physically fit and I have several personal fitness pursuits. I played college basketball, and have coached high school basketball for 34 years. I’m a movie buff, enjoy reading fiction and non-fiction and love traveling any time I have the opportunity.
