About rafael
I have been teaching tennis for more than 30 years. I have played and beaten some tennis touring professionals at the age of 40. This is important to know since I picked up a racket at the age of 19! Having gone from total beginner to professional allows me to understand everyone’s problems and tailor a plan of instruction that will benefit the student the most. Because of my frustrations learning and mastering the game, I have developed fun and simple fundamentals that will definitely help you reach your potential.

I specialize in teaching natural and finely tuned fundamentals. I emphasize sticking to the required patterns so that they will hold up under pressure. I study the students strokes and movements, learn their goals, and tell them how we will reach those goals.
