About Richard
Hi, I’m Richard. I was the USPTA- Southwest High Coach of the Year five times and 2008 Southwest Tennis Hall of Fame inductee. My lifetime high school coaching record is 295-50. Our high school has won the state 5-A title 11 of the past 14 years. I was also the USPTA Coach and Pro of the Year on two occasions. I run two highly successful tennis camps at ABQ Academy and La Cueva High School the past 14 years. I started the NMHSCA North-South All-Star high school tennis matches in 2012. This year I was the tournament director.

Teaching Experience: 38 years

Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching all levels of players and am flexible on the content of the lesson.

Hobbies
I like to travel and took a USPTA trip to Australia in January 2014. I also like gardening and my wife and I enjoy dining and new restaurant experiences.
