About Ron
Hi, my name is Ron. I am currently running junior and adult classes at The La Habra Tennis Center. I have been playing tennis for over 30 years. As a junior I was ranked in the top 50 in California and played number #1 Varsity at Chatsworth High School. I played four years of Collegiate tennis at Cal Poly and received senior of the year honors my final year. I have been teaching for 22 years and I am USPTA Certified. I enjoy teaching beginners, intermediate, and advanced players of all ages. I work real hard with my students to improve their stroke and footwork technique in a fun and safe environment. I also am running team tennis at our facility. This is where we play matches against other tennis clubs, it’s a great opportunity for students to improve on their match play.

Teaching Experience: 22 years

Teaching Style
I specialize in teaching proper stroke and footwork technique for all levels. My lessons are designed to work on stroke and footwork technique and then applying those techniques in match play. Once they get the technique I then teach students strategy in match play. I focus hard on keeping the kids moving and having fun.

Hobbies
My hobbies are playing tennis and golf. I love going to the gym and staying healthy.
