About Ryan
Hello, I grew up in Los Angeles, California, where was always outdoors playing sports and being active. When I was a freshman in high school I found tennis and haven’t put down my racket since. I took private lessons all summer and came back the next year to play varsity singles at no. 4 on a very competitive team. I later took private lessons from Vitaly Kozlov, a former professional tennis player who not only taught me how to play, but also how to teach. I then served a full time mission for the church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints where I learned many life skills, both communication and understanding others and helping them with life challenges. I am currently attending Mesa Community College, as well as playing on their elite tennis team. MCC is one of the best junior colleges for tennis in the nation. I am also currently teaching tennis at the Chandler Tennis Center at tumbleweed park. I absolutely love this sport and am working on geting my Professional Tennis Management
Degree as well as becoming USPTA and PTR certified.

Teaching Experience: 3 years

Teaching Style
I focus a lot on technique, both with strokes and footwork. I also focus on conditioning, which is fundamental in becoming a great tennis player. Typically I will start by understanding what you want out of lesson and what kind of player do you want to be. Then I’ll hit with you and determine your level. We will then work on technique and do some technique-based and point-based drills. We will end with conditioning and point play.

Hobbies
I love all types of music, art, watching movies and going out with friends.
