About Samantha
Hi, my name is Samantha. I am originally from Glendale, AZ, I moved to Denver 6 years ago to play Division II college tennis. I received a bachelors degree in Sports Industry Operations and I am currently pursuing a masters degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration. I am currently an assistant coach at the Division II level and a teaching pro at a local club in Colorado. I would like to become a head college coach within the next two years. I have 15 years of playing experience and 3 years of coaching experience. I tend to be very high energy and enthusiastic about the sport. I am confident that I can help anyone from beginners, to advanced players improve their game!

Teaching Style
I believe players get better by doing. I provide hands on training and allow players to hit as many balls as possible, rather than listening to me talk. For beginners I emphasize repetition and consistency. I believe that a good foundation will lead to the most enjoyment from the sport. For advanced players, I focus on technical and tactical skills. I run purposeful drills that will translate to successful match play. I focus on footwork, preparation, depth of shot, and shot selection.
Hobbies
My number one passion is tennis but I enjoy all sports! I have recently taken up golf, and I enjoy hiking and climbing. I am also a devoted Broncos fan!
