About Tavi
I have been the assistant men’s tennis coach at the University of California-San Diego since June 2007. I develop and implement daily tennis workouts, fitness workouts, and coordinate the match line up. I was formerly a tennis professional/tennis shop manager at The Vintage Club. I am a USPTA Member P1, have a national doubles ranking of 20 in Men’s 40, was ranked 1140 in men’s doubles in the ATP, and was a sparing partner for Jim Courier, Todd Marting, Patrick McEnroe and Johnathan Stark. I was the 1994 MVP of the tennis team at College of the Desert and in 1991-1992 was a member of the tennis state champions team at College of the Desert.

Teaching Style
My lesson plan is as follows: warm up, find out if the student has anything specific that they want to work on, identify any areas for improvement, and get to work.
