About William
I have been teaching tennis professionaly for 40 years and am a member of the United States Professional Tennis Association. I have taught thousands of students of all abilities. I was three-time New Jersey Parochial High School doubles champion, received a tennis scholarship to Iona College in New Rochelle, NY, and had a four-year singles record of 86-3. Out of all my tournament victories as an adult, my cherished accomplishment I shared with my son is when we received the no. 1 ranking in father-son doubles for USTA New England. Currently I am the director/head pro at Palm Island Resort, Cape Haze, Florida. I have a teaching site, onlinetennistraining.com, authored the book “Winning Tennis Strokes” and created the tennis app Complete Tennis Mastery for all mobile devices-Apple or Android. Many of my past USTA teams have won their divisions and USTA students have received countless rankings. My most gratifying moments are when many of my junior students have received college tennis
scholarships. See you on the courts.

Teaching Experience: 40 years

Teaching Style
My teaching style is easygoing, yet focused on the student’s improvement. If we can’t have fun while working hard there is no sense being out there. Tennis’ best quality is being extremely competitive (the heat of the battle) while having fun during it. The matches are supposed to be competitve and fun. Lessons are structured into two basic areas per hour. If we cover too many strokes, shots, etc. retention is lost. I am a firm believer in muscle memory, which is why I do not go over two areas per lesson.

Hobbies
Music, history, golf and family
