About Ana
Hello, I’ve been playing tennis since I was 4 years old. I played in Romania, until I was 16, when I moved to the states and started playing for Woodstock High School. I was their No. 1 singles player, qualified to the IHSA State Tournament three years in a row and placed top-30 during my last season. I was also Cary-Grove Sectional Champion in 2014, first place at most tournaments during all four years, and I was also undefeated on my last high school season. I’m currently playing in college, at University of Illinois at Springfield, which is a Division II school. I’ve been coaching for about three years now, started with privates and now I’m involved in some youth and adult tennis camps.

Teaching Style
I structure my lessons based on technique, tactics and playing the game. I emphasize practice a lot due to tennis being all about muscle-memory. I usually don’t recommend practicing outside of lessons if the player is not evolved to the point where they have all the basics down perfectly.
