About Cameron
Hello my name is Cameron Clemons. I am 19 years old and have just finished my freshman year of college at the University of South Carolina. I have been playing tennis for going on 10 years now and have a great deal of passion and knowledge of the sport. I have had a great deal of experience in helping refine other players skills in the sport through working with juniors at my former country club as well as being captain of my high school tennis team for 3 years. My father has also been a tennis coach for as long as I can remember and through his guidance I feel have accomplished much in the sport such as being named player of the year last year for Union County. Being able to pass on to others what I have learned through years of practice is something that brings me great joy and I would love to be given the opportunity to continue to do so.

Teaching Experience: 4 years

Teaching Style
I tend to emphasize footwork a lot since almost any ground stroke error can be traced back to improper positioning of the feet. With that being said, students can expect to move around a lot and work up a good sweat. Another thing that is overlooked by many is the mental/strategy side of the game. By enforcing high percentage tennis and ball movement, one can expect to see great success since a lot of match play involves outsmarting your opponent. Picking specific spots on the court for accuracy while rallying for consistency tends to be the best way to hone this part of one’s game. While every lesson will be different, one should expect to simulate real match situations and be able to choose the best shots to win points.

Hobbies
I enjoy almost all other sports and I am a business major.
