About Imran
Hey my name is Imran. I’ve been playing tennis for 14 years and competitive for 10. I played at the No. 1 and 2 position for Manhattanville College. I received Rookie of the Year and posted a 22-1 record my first year. I have worked with a lot of great coaches. I also recently had the pleasure of working with Tim Mayotte and Lee Hurst, who have been taught me so much. My strong points are juniors and anyone really looking to compete, play USTA tournaments and get ready to play college tennis. I also have experience with beginners and intermediate players.

Teaching Style
I love playing in during lessons. I think the best way to improve a person’s game is by slowing down the pace and really perfecting movement. I find by hitting and giving specific targets with repetition a player really understands the ball. This is the case for more advanced players. My approach with beginners and intermediate players includes ball feeding , movement drills and definitely games. I like to structure my lesson based on the student and what they are looking for.
