About John
Howdy, I am a Texas native and former camp counselor new to the area. I have been playing tennis since the age of twelve and have spent the past 5 summers and the majority of my weekends coaching students and campers in Texas. I like to work with clients on determining what area they feel they need to improve on and come up with fun and effective ways to learn and master new skills. I have plenty of experience working with people of all ages and all skill sets.

I have a knack for coming up with innovative ways to teach basic skills. Though repetition is key to learning the game of tennis, I have ways of making the mundane fun. I am encouraging and fun when needed, but most importantly I am honest when needed. I love to build up self-esteem, break bad habits and build up great ones.

Music, singing, kayaking, running and my dog Luna!
