About Justin
Hi there! I am a former DI tennis player with a passion for instructing kids of all ages as well as adults to help them reach their personal goals, whether that be to play in college or just to improve from a 3.0 to a 4.0. I work in San Antonio for a software company but would love to teach after 5 pm on weekdays in SA and anytime Saturday or Sunday in either Austin or San Antonio. My friends and family live in Austin so I am there a lot and don’t mind driving. I have trained at Bollettieri (IMG Academies) in Florida and even learned the Spanish style of play when I trained in Barcelona, Spain for 2 summers to prepare for college tennis. I have been teaching tennis since I was 15 where I was playing no. 1 on my high school team as a freshman and have since coached kids ages 8-19 as well as adults ages 30-50.

Teaching Experience: 8 years

Teaching Style
Lots and lots of balls. Focus on movement, footwork, and consistency. And if simply being in better shape is your goal, some of my favorite drills are ones I learned in Spain that will vastly improve your physicality on the court. With more established players, I like to push them to their limits and get in plenty of point play. I would throw them different strategies of play and challenge them to overcome the adversity and consistency they don’t normally face from a peer.

Hobbies
I love to play soccer and I run marathons on occasion.
