About Kerry
I played high school tennis reaching number two singles my senior year at George Washington High School in Denver, Colorado. After playing basketball at the University of Colorado and graduating, I played championship level tennis in Colorado. I competed in both singles and doubles tournaments for over 15 years and in 2011 my brother and I were the number 1 ranked team in 40’s doubles in the state of Colorado. I have taught tennis independently, for parks and recreation, coached for the Aurora Public Schools, taught for Stapleton All Sports and run the Western Tennis Academy. This amounts to over twenty years of teaching and coaching tennis.

Teaching Style
I excel in teaching skill acquisition. I am a firm believer in the importance of teaching the fundamentals of each particular shot needed to play tennis. The utilization of good form and technique is essential to the shot making process.
Hobbies
I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I love gardening, watching movies, studying the Bible and spiritual readings of all sorts.
