About Kirsten
Hi! My name is Kirsten and I am a recent graduate with a degree in nutrition science. I have experience as captain of several USTA junior team tennis leagues in Upstate New York where I am from. I was also captain of my college tennis team where I advanced to the semifinals of the ITA Northeastern Regional Tournament during my senior year. I also have experience teaching private, semi-private, and group lessons to kids of all ages over the past several years.
Teaching Experience: 5 years
Teaching Style
I am very flexible and like to individualize my lessons based on each client. I typically like to focus on one or two strokes per lesson (serves/overheads or volleys/approach shots or groundstrokes, etc). I also make sure to include a game or two toward the end of the lesson.
Hobbies
I love practicing yoga, going hiking and exploring new areas!
