About Leonard
Hi, my name is Leonard. I have been involved in tennis for over 40 years. Teaching tennis is a passion for me. I love teaching all levels, beginner to advanced. I have a teaching certification and take that responsibility very seriously. I always give my students my best. I retired from federal service 17 years ago and now spend much of my time teaching and coaching tennis. I am also a certified USTA tennis tournament official. Again, tennis is my passion.

Teaching Style
It’s all about the basics. Each stroke is broken down so the student understands how to properly produce them. This is most effective for beginners. For more advanced students, fine tuning helps to raise the game to the next level. For all students the importance of movement and balance are primary and are emphasized as needed. My lessons are goal oriented to meet the needs of the student.
Hobbies
I am a jazz guitarist and leader of my own band.
