About Martina
I grew up in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia, and represented my country at ITF Junior tournaments. When I was 18, I was recruited by the University of South Alabama to play No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles. While in the USA, I won the NCAA Div. 1 National Doubles Championships and was ranked No. 1 in the nation. I was also selected to be an All-American for three consecutive years. After graduation, I came to Connecticut to pursue my tennis passion and pass my knowledge of the game to others. I’m USPTA Professional 1 certified with more than 15 years of teaching experience. Over the years, I’ve been teaching at the different clubs in Westchester and Fairfield County. I’ve spent last 7 years teaching at Proform Tennis Academy in Rye Brook, NY.
