About Michael
I am an experienced player with a history of championship wins in league and tournament play. I am also a successful coach of a conference-winning high school tennis team. I also have several several students of all ages who through my instruction/coaching have achieved city, state and regional tournament wins.

Teaching Style
I emphasize technically correct strokes with proper footwork. I also develop players in learning an all-court game. I outline a plan based on the goals of each student. The structure of my lessons are adaptive to the rate the student is progressing. I try to give the student a reason why a technique is done a certain way. When explaining game strategy I explain from both the player’s and the opponent’s point of view.
Hobbies
A large part of my free time is taken up by tennis. Whether playing, teaching, coaching or keeping fit to do the former. I do “play” with radio controlled cars and helicopters.
