About Mitchell
I am a USPTA certified professional who’s been playing tennis for more than 30 years and teaching for more than 19 years. I was a highly ranked junior player and currently coach boys and girls high school tennis for a Division I Montgomery County school. I’ve worked as an assistant pro at Norbeck Country Club and am also a former fourth grade teacher in MCPS.

Teaching Style
I’m great with both kids and adults and adapt my methods to suit each individual student. I pay close attention to building solid fundamentals and incorporating great footwork, as I believe those are the keys to success. I spend the majority of my lessons on these principles and also build in opportunities for games as well.
Hobbies
I used to play basketball and football and I enjoy listening to all kinds of music and spending lots of time with family.
