About Paola
I have played tennis since I was 7 years old. I was top 10 in the 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16 years old categories and no. 1 in doubles for three years in a row in Venezuela. After that I came to United States with an athletic scholarship in tennis to play for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where I play for four years. While being part of the tennis team we were conference champions for three years and second place for one year. In addition, we also participated in the National Championship every year. We got to the semifinal in 2011, final in 2012, quarters in 2013 and the final in 2014. I still play tenis somtimes as a hobby, but I want to keep playing more often. Beside tennis, I just graduated with my bachelors degree. I’m a really active, enthusiastic, responsible person, but most importantly, really friendly. I like to be around people all the time and love make new friends around the world. I like to stay active and get to know new places.

Teaching Experience: 3 years

Teaching Style
I work on playing the game, tactics and techniques. Lessons will include a warm up (jogging and hitting for a while); practice of intense forehands, backhands and volleys from different positions; practice of different rhythms to mimic game play; some points or games; and some jogging to relax at the end. My lessons vary from this structure.

Hobbies
Soccer, beach tennis, going to the beach with friends, hang out, have fun
