About Robert
Hi, I was a nationally ranked junior player at No. 2 in the under 16’s in Trinidad and Tobago; ranked No. 1 in the under 18’s in the Missouri Valley; played collegiate tennis on a full scholarship for a team that was ranked as high as No. 7 in the nation for NAIA ( I typically played either position 3 or 4); and ranked No. 2 in 2013 for men’s open in the Middle States.
Teaching Experience: 7 years
Teaching Style
Lessons vary depending on the level of player experience. For toddlers between ages 5-9, I usually emphasize technique, hand-eye coordination and footwork. Junior players between ages 10-18 I usually do more hitting, while working on technique, strategy, mental and physical conditioning. For adults; you can expect lessons to be a very intense workout if you are looking to get a professional hit, or more instructional and fun if you are beginning to learn to play.
Hobbies
Besides my love for tennis, I enjoy going to Philadelphia Union soccer games, Phillies baseball games, and 76’ers basketball games. I’m also a fan of golf, bowling, billiards and ping pong.
