About Rodney
I have been a tennis teaching pro for the last 25 years. I have coached beginners to advanced children and adults. I am currently a registered and insured certified professional at Professional Tennis Registry with a masters degree with the PTR on high performance tennis coaching. I coached for three and a half years a top nationally ranked junior in the 14 and under division, bringing him from the intermediate level to a top seeded player in many state events.

Teaching Style
Depending on the student’s goals, if it is to learn to play and enjoy the game in a social and exercise level, the teaching style would focus on skills needed to reach a level of enjoyment with some competition. If is coaching a competitive player, the teaching style would focus on perfecting some technical skills but very strongly focus on the tactical aspect of how to recognize opponents weaknesses, force strengths and overcome mental barriers, working on the whole psychological aspect.
