About Taylor
I have been playing tennis since age four. I also did gymnastics as well, and competed and got up to Level 6. At age 10 I was National Gymnast at Level 4 and the next year at Level 5 I was third overall in the United States. After placing I decided to devote all my attention to tennis. From ages 12 to 18 I practiced at the Rick Macci Tennis Academy. I had private lessons with Rick Macci himself and played with highly trained players and coaches. It really helped me advance very fast. Double sessions (seven hours every day over the summer) gave me the discipline I needed. I played USTA tournaments and got up to a high enough level to get accepted to Indiana University and play tennis.
