About Brian
Hi, my name is Brian and I am originally from Avon, CT but I’ve been living in Portland, OR since 1990. I played tennis at Fordham University where I graduated from with a B.A. in communications. I have several client testimonials there as well. I can teach at any Portland, OR court location as well as Gresham, Lake Oswego, Milwaukie, West Linn, Tigard, Hillsboro, and Vancouver, WA.
Teaching Experience: 5 years
Teaching Style
I teach the semi western grip for the forehand, a continental for the slice and serve, and an eastern or continental on the backhand depending upon a one or two handed backhand. I teach a private or a group lesson up to 8 students maximum. I use foam tennis balls for small children and pressure less balls for beginners. Hitting hard with topspin is my specialty.
Hobbies
I am a former Junior Olympic ski racer and I teach skiing as well part time in the Winter.
