About Danny
I’m from San Benito, Texas. Started playing tennis when I was four years old. All of my siblings play and most coach. My team and I (the Ramrods) won two state titles in ’08 and ’09 through the USTA jr team tennis. We placed 8th in ’08 and 5th in ’09. I played at Schriner University for a bit before I injured my knees. After that I lived in Corpus Christi and worked at Al Kruse Tennis Center as an instructor and working the shop. I’ve been around the sport for a very long time and I love it a lot.
Teaching Experience: 5 years
Teaching Style
It depends on what level the player is at. For beginners I would start with technique and basic rules and formalities of the game. Then build them up to doing simulation training and different mental trainings. I’m not a big physical training type coach. That should be something all players are taking care of themselves. If they need tips on how to do that then I will give it to them but it will not take up court time.
Hobbies
I play almost every sport I can. I’m also a surfer and photographer.
